About the planning Unit<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

All the development projects of ministry of sports and industries are planned by the planning unit. The development projects of sports, Youth affairs, women, rural development industrial and textile fields are planned according to the necessities of the province. Taking suitable steps to commence the above mentioned projects within Central Province through the departmental sections under the ministry, all operations and evaluations of them are also done by this unit.The following duties are performed by the planning unit.<\/span><\/p>\n

Creation of ministry\u2019s development plans and Three- year plans are done according to the provisions allocated for the year. Assessing the progress of development projects by keeping records monthly, quarterly, half year and yearly according to the commenced plans allocating those targets among departments and sections on each subject area, calculation of total progress observing the programs and projects monthly wise, operation and evaluation of those completed projects are done by the unit. Total evaluations, operations and observations of other projects that conducted under special economic infrastructure development, the projects conduct under the provisions of Member of Parliament and the projects conduct under the other special provisions are also done according to the monthly progress of those projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time Organizing and presenting reports of the progress meeting conducts with honorable Governor, advisory committee meetings, meeting conducts with honorable minister of industries and sports, meetings conducts with chief secretary and meetings conducts with our secretary are done by this unit.<\/span><\/p>\n

All operations of Information Technology section of the ministry, upgrading the information system of the ministry, performing the duties of provincial council, participating and preparing all reports of district coordination meeting for every month are also done. In addition to that creation of ministry\u2019s Annual Budget Report, making of ministry\u2019s policy statement and performance reports and sending them to the relevant sections are also done by the planning unit.<\/span><\/p>\n
