Duties

  • Strengthening the background that essential for the handloom industry through infrastructure development in Textile Industrial Centers.
  • Sales promotion of handloom products through the Annual Textile Sales Exhibitions.
  • Assessing the best creations through Annual Award Ceremony for Textile Artists and motivate all those who are engaged in qualitative innovative products.
  • Creating qualitative products through training programs strengthening the rural economy and taking necessary steps to uplift the standard of living among handicraftsmen.
  • Providing handloom products to the government officers at concessionary basisto keep on the traditional handloom market.
  • Selling handloom products to the government organizations at instalment base.

About us

Our organization engages in leading activities such as Production, Marketing, Physical Resources Development and Human Resources Development. At the same time directing the workers for relevant training programs focusing on creating standard products in order to provide the customers standard products, Getting closer to the customers by conducting Annual Textile Exhibitions , providing qualitative handloom products to the community that valued for the buying price rather than commercial objective are also done.
